Captan is used to treat fruits and ornamentals for certain fungus diseases. Captan can also be used as a soil treatment for the control of damping-off diseases. Captan helps control powdery mildew, blossom blight, rust, brown rots, and many more. Active ingredients include 48.90% captan and 1.10% related derivatives. The remaining 50% is made up from inert ingredients. Mixing instructions vary per application. Mixing instructions are provided on the captan label.
